Knocking – National Constitution Center Podcast

On May 8, 2007, KNOCKING was screened for a full house at the National
Constitution Center in Philadelphia. A live panel discussion followed,
moderated by Stephen Dunning, Chair of the Religious Studies program at the
University of Pennsylvania. Speakers included KNOCKING director Joel P.
Engardio and Daniel Mach, litigation director of the Freedom of Religion and
Belief program at the American Civil Liberties Union. Questions were taken
from the audience, which included many Jehovah’s Witnesses. The discussion
was recorded and is now podcast for free, sponsored by the National
Constitution Center and the Annenberg Center for Education and Outreach. The

Microsoft Photosynth

Microsoft has developed (bought) a really cool technology called Photosynth for creating 3D worlds built from photographs mined from public photo websites. Try it out, it’s pretty amazing. Currently requires Internet Explorer.

Santa Cruz Road Trip

10 of us spent the Memorial Day weekend riding epic trails in Santa Cruz. With the help of our friendly guides, we experience some very memorable rides, especially in Aptos. This was probably the best ride I have ever been on, which isn’t saying a lot, really. An 8+ mile fireroad trek, then down another 6 miles of the sweetest singletrack through some of the most beautiful scenery you can imagine.
