Saw Alice In Wonderland 3D at IMAX last night. I was looking forward to it, having read the book for the first time last year. It was better than I anticipated, and in my opinion Avatar has nothing on it in the way of visuals, and definitely not in story. I had heard criticism about it just being another run-of-the-mill Burton/Depp productions, but I thought it was fantastic.
BTW: The closing credits are AMAZING. Definitely stay for them.
Dubstep has been my music of choice for the last year ot two. It’s not something that anyone I know is into, or likely even has heard of. But to me, it’s some of the best music I’ve ever heard. This is a shining example of some killer dubstep that is a bit more accessible, and that most people can probably appreciate. If you want to listen to more try these:
Khristian captured a funnel cloud over San Clemente / Dana Point, and sent it in to the OC Register. They then published in on their website along with a story of the storm.
Apocalyptica – Bittersweet live, from their life burns DVD
Finnish cello band Apocalyptica played the House of Blues in Anaheim last night. I only recently started listening to them, and wasn’t sure what to expect, but I figured at the very least it would be an entertaining show.
They were incredible. These guys are are true musicians and they put on an amazing show. I highly recommend taking a look.
